Get to Know Us

Help us create well-rounded educational experiences.

Blue Ridge PTO has several goals - one of them is to strengthen the connection between home and school. We serve grades 3-year-old PreK through 12th grade at Blue Ridge School and Blue Ridge Early college, plus their parents, families, and teachers. We are seeing more and more parents getting involved in their children’s education each year which is exciting! It takes a lot of volunteering and dedication from our entire community in Cashiers, NC, and the rewards are huge!

The Blue Ridge PTO Annual Fall Festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The funds we raise are used directly to enhance education, offering extracurricular activities beyond sports, and improving our facilities - making sure our students are all supported!

We're dedicated to ensuring that *every student* has the opportunity to enjoy a full, enriching school experience. We proudly serve over 300 students, many of whom face financial barriers, by stepping in to provide support for the “extras” that make school memorable and engaging. Whether it’s funding for Literacy Night, Prom, Homecoming, Graduation, or even covering caps and gowns for all seniors, we’re here to fill the gap so every student can participate and feel included.

Our efforts also extend to teacher appreciation and numerous other activities that make school life vibrant and inclusive. With a focus on unity and support, the PTO is committed to building a strong, connected school community where every family is confident that their child will have a well-rounded educational experience!

Our Purpose

Fall Festival 2024

November 8, 2024

5:30-8:30 PM

95 Bobcat Drive, Cashiers, NC 28717

For over 50 years, this beloved community tradition has been a cornerstone of Blue Ridge PTO’s fundraising efforts, enabling us to support family-friendly programs and enhance educational opportunities at Blue Ridge School and Blue Ridge Early College.

This year, in addition to supporting our schools, we are donating 10% of the event’s proceeds to Samaritan’s Purse, specifically to aid the hardest-hit areas of Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. We believe in giving back and strengthening our community, especially during times of need.

We ask for YOUR help in making this year’s Fall Festival a huge success! Your support creates memorable experiences and provides long-term educational advancement for students at Blue Ridge School and Blue Ridge Early College.
